Alexis Weightman

As the Senior Government Affairs Manager at the Colorado Health Foundation, Alexis leads an external engagement strategy to influence and implement public policy solutions to improve the health of Coloradans. In her long tenure at CHF, she previously served as the Director of Policy and the Director of Evaluation and has been actively engaged in a wide range of state health policy issues. Before returning home to Colorado, Alexis worked for the Science and Technology Policy Institute, a federally-funded research and development center based in Washington, D.C. and consulted on domestic and international health programs at Abt Associates Inc. in Boston. Alexis holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Middlebury College and a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Denver. She is a proud fourth generation Coloradan.
